Studio Lapa Studios was created in 2003, when Jasper Williams realised there was a need for a world class studio & mastering room in Johannesburg, South Africa. With the emphasis on accurate monitoring, you will find a character filled room, with speakers & amps from B&W, Tannoy & Yamaha, and outboard from Shep, API, TC Electronics, Focusrite, & Libra Electronics. A range of microphones from amongst others, Sony Neumann & AKG are represented. Workstation duties are carried out by Logic Pro, Pro-Tools & Wavelab, each with a complement of excellent plug-ins. Recording As the name suggests, full service recording projects are carried out at Lapa Studios, either private, producer driven, or booked out by record labels. Location recording & Classical Orchestral sessions are also able to be booked. Please email us with your project info, to get a detailed quotation. Mixing An obvious extension of the recording service, mix projects are taken on for indie & major Label groups, with the same care taken for all.
